My name is Diane, and I'm a huge fan of board games!
For the past few years I've been playing board games of the more serious, hobby variety. Before getting new games my husband and I like to look up reviews and comments from people who have played, watch people explaining and playing the games on YouTube, and get a good feel for whether it's a game that we will enjoy. However, even though we're in what some might call the "Golden Age of Board Games," I've noticed a distinct lack of the female voice when it comes to this type of content.
Not that it should matter; a good game is a good game regardless of who's playing or reviewing it, but it's nice to get different perspectives sometimes. So, while there are other (and definitely more experienced) female board game reviewers out there, I've started this blog as a place to post my thoughts on the games I play.
I'm hoping we can build a community of women sharing our love of games. Comment freely and add to the discussion!
